Being a high visibility individual on here does bring unique problems. I like many users on here am pseudo-anonymous and only have a modest following so I don't have trolls. It will be interesting to see how Nostr plays out. There have always been trolls on the internet. The conventional methods of dealing with them obviously aren't good, or people wouldn't be coming over to open networks like Nostr looking for fresh air.
I think a non-technical solution might prove best. The attitude of the community might be the antidote. It's no fun being a troll if the only engagement you ever get is people shaming you for being a troll. Not attempting to argue any points, just admonishment.
