Well done! Great feeling isn’t it? I did my first 48 hour water fast a month ago. Shooting for 72 next time around.

It went in waves. Felt locked in sometimes. Other I felt a little low energy. Had a blast surfing 62 hours in. Great distraction. Fasting reminds me of how much my/our lives are centered on food. Whether that be meals with family or just eating something to avoid boredom.
Our body is not made to eat 3 times a day 🤝
Ya I fast during Ramadan, no food or water from sun up to sun down. It feels great cuz the day somehow becomes longer and it’s not broken up with meals and coffees etc. but never tried a sustained multi day fast.
The days are much much longer. I recommend everyone try it. Good to flex discipline muscles. Not a doc obvi

Tons of food. My wife made us French fries. Ground beef. White rice. Leftover new years lentils. Couple tangerines. A bunch of cheese.

It’s a bit of a reset for the body. I like it as more of a spiritual thing. The literature is vast. I’m not one to ask about it. But you’ll see the word autophagy a lot. I see it more as medicine/spiritual practice.
