Wildlife encounters can be pretty spooky sometimes, mine was with a large momma black bear and her cubs. Glad you and the pup are okay. It will be back and you will be ready next time.

I hope so. We put out another leg trap for tonight. I cant imagine having to deal with bears.

Traps are the way to go. Hope it either leaves and never comes back or you catch it!
