Yah but we start, and some are better at some things and some at others. We figure it out again. We cooperate because we all bring value. I cant grow wheat cuz my place is too small but I do have some hogs and the worlds best strawberry preserves. The neighbor one section over has lotsa horses and potatoes. And billy over ther Writes code and fixes dirtbikes.

See? Gotta fight the urge to centralize and clump everything. isolated economies of scale should not be the goal. Thats how we got in this mess fren.

... eggs?? naw eggs are free basically. everybody got chickens.

I think you may be confusing my point. I am highlighting that food production is often more expensive for the individual who may think it is cheaper and that we should all support the local small scale producers who are the decentralized food system outside of the centralized corpo food system.

I agree in general, but not with eggs. The eggs produce waaaay too fast for the local community to eat them once there is critical mass. 20 people with coops will make a lot of eggs avail in local community. you get i micro economy where eggs are almost a nuisance.
