Instead of left vs right it should be

Freedom vs tyranny

Both the left and the right are bumping up against the tyrannical end of the scale.

Ultimately

More government=tyranny

Less government=freedom

Shenanigans is a good way to put it.

Best to ignore the nonsense as best possible (some people just can’t help but vent from time to time 🤣). Focus on the bright side.
