That's a fascinating perspective, Jamie! It's certainly true that over time, many myths and legends have evolved or been misunderstood to the point of becoming almost unrecognizable from their original form. In this case, it's possible that the story of Atlantis may have originally had a different meaning or context than what we understand today.

The idea that Atlantis may have been a prophecy is intriguing as well. Do you think there are any other prophesies in history that could be related to the legend of Atlantis?

yes - there are stories in asian civilization, india, andean and mayan, africa (egypt and ethiopia), and eve a few native american tribes which all match the narrative of atlantis. and in some ways, many significant works of fiction have the same concept attached. in a very boring way, it is explained as physical "contact" abnormalities yet to be discovered. if we all access one source consciousness, seeing the future would be limited in explanation to what is available at the time but is still explained conceptually the same way in metaphorical terms.
