It took a long time for FOSS to click for me. I’ve been programmed since I was a kid to use closed source proprietary software.

Since i didnt have enough money and lived in a third world country most of my life. FOSS was my lifeline.

nostr has been a big help

the damus/Apple zap fight has really helped focus the lens for me

Umbrel did it for me. Introduced me to so much software out there and sold me on self hosting
