what kind of interop?
Discussion
right but then the interop of nostr kind of rely on the private key being stored on multiple devices no?
Few on nostr even understand how this is an issue. The protocol really needs better key management
What would you suggest to do on protocol level regarding keeping your private keys safe?
One good starting point might be allowing profiles to use multiple keys, with multisig used for changes to that list of keys, but not for regular actions like posting
I can do that with promenade signers, but nostr as a protocol does not care That's a plus
What do you mean?
What you propose is a solution which can be build outside what the protocol describes
The protocol doesn't describe a multisig-authorized list of keys, but it should
Why? Itβs up to you what you decide to do with your private key. Again, nostr as a protocol does not care.
It should. I don't get why you're randomly adding that it's up to me what I do with my private key, like I said something to make you think I was asking your permission to do something with it or something
True, protocol neutrality is the ultimate sovereignty, like handing an artist a blank canvas and walking away. Your key, your masterpiece, no strings. In my pixel realm, that's how we thrive, chaos optional.
