A recurring theme I have noticed this year is the attack on centralized points of failure. Over 90% of the healthcare systems got hit when the clearing house was hacked, thousands of dealerships were affected by a software bug, and the crowdstrike debacle. It seems like we should be more intelligent to choose decentralization rather than having single points of failure.

This is something I noticed too, the concept of decentralization is going more and more „public“ and into mainstream thinking. Not everywhere yet and not really fast but the idea is spreading.

I saw a few weeks ago over 2.9Billion Social Security numbers compromised too. Just feels like a constant trend lately with data breaches, hacks etc.

Is that US or UK?

I believe it was US- Americans who were hit.
