For nostr, that’s based on nostr.band data. I’m not sure that data is even right tho, it seems off. Fedi has a lot more ppl, but it’s so divided and instances block each other for practically nothing, so despite the numbers, a lot of ppl can’t even see each other.
The stats keep getting revised on that site so it's iffy. Even so the all users data *is* collapsing.
