We live in a desert. We parked at a shopping area tonight and there's these weird short green pokey things coming out of the ground. They bend really easily when stepped on, and cover the whole ground in the "median" between parking spaces.

Usually that area is covered in rocks, but this is clearly not rocks.

I seem to have a vague memory of this stuff from before living in the desert, but I don't seem to be able to remember what exactly it is... 🤔 greens? No, that's not it... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
