It happens. A couple of months ago one got stuck for hours if I remember correctly.

Damn, that sucks when you are waiting for confirmation of transaction 🐶🐾😭

It's probabilistic. The goal is to find a hash less than the previous block, 00000000000000000000ef903fd2d1ce35130114a47afeed2384394ddbcfdaf3. Sometimes it takes minute. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes, but it is every ten minutes on average.

3 so far. Fascinating 🐶🐾🫡

I think it's beautiful. Nobody knows what the winning nonce will be ahead of time, so it's random in a sense like Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, yet we still have an objective standard to measure. It almost seems like a monument, like the Pyramids, but digital. That's how I see it anyway.

It's so over. Bitcoin is dead

Nope, just confirmed and back to 10m 🐶🐾🫡

I admire your optimism, but my uncle who's awesome at the stock market said that this was the weak point of Bitcoin. It'll get hacked by quantum AI and go straight to zero. True story.

Technology already exists to prevent that (even for mining security). Some of the solutions are already open source, even the military is using them.

It will not die until we let it.

Yes, post quantum encryption is already well known, used and out there. 🐶🐾🫡

It's always a little off. The randomness of the system.

I’ve seent it
