Went to local butcher shop for some hamburgers and overheard the butcher and a restaurateur discussing meat prices….case of chicken breasts gone from $43 to $80, Boston Butts (pork) gone from $1.40 lb to $2.00 lb. This is before everyone quits buying beef because of the cost increases. Wait to the other meats get hit with higher demand. This inflation thing is about to get real (real fast). Plan accordingly frens.

I’m hopeful that the basic meats come down a bit. Maybe they will get subsidized, but I doubt it.
Sadly meat got priced out of lowest income brackets first, and price getting too high for middle class in many regions also. Meat will increasingly be for high net worth people who will be able to afford it.
