the spoon was the worst.

Dad used the long paint paddle… ouch!

I had a great aunt who was a nun.

I was her favorite. Heaven is a guarantee. Just saying.

I have a tendency to push limits, especially when I was a kid.

The wooden spoon to the back of the hand hurt like hell and worked.

Oh man, she knew what she was doing. She was a teacher too and one of my good friends had her in 6th grade. He got it as well.

The old convent run schools seemed to allow corporal punishment and should be brought back IMO. 🤔
