It does actually. Religion is at the center of most wars. Even when it isn't, religious thinking is there. We group as us and others, then demonize the other until most of us think of them as less than human.

I'm opposed to broken thinking patterns and religion is just one of them.

The facts are, fewer people are religious than ever and your odds of dying of old age are higher than ever.
