That's true. But there is protections, even in clearnet. For instance, we can't know from what node a particular transaction is broadcasted thanks to Dandelion++.

But you're right, your Monero node is still visible and depending on regulations, it could be a problem.

That's why mine is running behind Tor. Like, entirely behind Tor. (Unfortunately, the default Tor mode included with the still allows clearnet connections).

Like with Tor, if we assume the adversary is running 80% of the nodes than they vcan deanonymise the transaction origin even with Dandelion.
