Good point indeed!

For the influxes of new users from Jack tweets amd twitter changing user policy, we can assume a large part to be unfit as early adoptors.

Though new users imformed through active marketing effords should be aware the early experience will be rougher then established social platforms.

Anyway the question is how do we reliably figure out what to improve to what extend, to shorten the journey between download and experiencing value.

Yeah true. I came from Xitter™️ when there was a big wave of people and definitely got a lot of npubs out of all the commotion

I took a hands-on approach to discovering content and not just being out alone in the void, damp and confused, which is not normal and shouldn’t be expected of everyone if wide adoption is the goal

We definitely want newcomers to have easier and more effective ways of getting to the point of experiencing value from nostr. I don’t have any bright ideas at the moment though, seems like algos might be in order 😭

Yeah I agree. Preferably we get to an onboarding and content exploration system that required less efford and is more effective than what people are used to.

And algos don't have to be bad 😌 at least on nostr user will have a choice of clients and algos!
