We’ve Vatican City with the Pope inside Rome. An indipendent state that for a lot of things control everything. Just for example, in Rome a couple of gay or lesbian are not seeing well from people, because God doesn’t consent those things. Teaching religion in schools doesn’t means teach what every religion say, but just continue what in italian churches they say every Sunday.

All those things, make me really really mad with religion (Christian).

That does sound really oppressive and stifling. It sucks that you just can't catch a break from Christianity in Italy, I'm sorry 🫂

That's the kind of pervasive religious culture that turns people off to the whole affair because of the negative effect is has.

If you read the letter Philemon, or the Acts of the Apostles you will see that true Christianity was a strong brotherhood and solidarity among the members. Jesus himself said that the only way to differentiate Christians from the rest, is love among them. "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

Therefore, I do not believe that Catholicism is true Christianity, at bottom they are a corrupt corporation that uses Christianity for their own benefit.

I went backpacking in Italy, besides the architecture and the delicious one euro pizzas. I liked that the women remained attractive well into their 40's. Genetic?

But of religion, the only thing I know from there is what comes to us as Catholicism, and personally I think it's corrupt crap masquerading as goodness.
