when I worked in trend forecasting, one of my mentors used to explain the “death of a trend” period when laggards start to adopt as “this is when your mother/grandmother starts talking about it”… so that’s a good thing I guess 😂

Exactly! 😂 The ‘mum/grandma phase’ is the ultimate signal the trend is cooked. Once the laggards jump in, the hype cycle’s over. Time to sidestep the rug and stick to timeless trends like real sound money.
