Thank you! I’m looking to change careers and want to work with AutoCAD.

Any field in particular? That draft looks like architechtural isn't it?
The class covered Civil and Architectural. Blocks, templates, layers…. I’m currently working in the environmental industry and mostly make concentration maps, closer relation to Civil maps, but I don’t really have a preference. I haven’t found many entry level cad positions posted but I’ll stay after it. I just put in my notice at my job. Taking a leap of faith!
Yes! I've learned a lot just on the fly while working though autocad is so vast that you never know it all
Blocks can make your life super easy, and specially using the shortcut to toogle groups on and of
Also the command for re-select your last selection set
For my current job, blocks are not needed at all. It was neat to see the application they have. Mostly, I’m changing text and drawing poly lines. Triangulate coordinates to add new well locations and edit the legends and title box. I used masking a lot.
