"What if the internet goes down" is the biggest comeback I get for this.
Any good rebuttals?
All banks infrastructure relies on internet connection now days, unless you have cold hard cash and someone who will take it, it's the same problem.
I understand that. How do get others to understand that though?
Cuz the shit folks say these days...
🤣🤣🤣
If you think about it, this is a place where Precious metals actually take the cake, they will never not be valuable and can only be taken or become unavailable by physical force.
Carry around a file and 1g gold bars to buy my fountain drink?
Who's got pieces smaller than an Oz in silver?
I always just end up saying;
When has the internet ever gone down on a nationwide scale?
Never. Even if America lost internet. Other people across the globe would still be supporting the network, and you bitcoin would be waiting for you when you had internet again.
🤷
Blockstream satellites kits, opendimes, even radio would serve as a suitable medium. Anything capable of transmitting a few mb of data every ten minutes would work.
U right.. Bitcoin operates 24/7, without restrictions like bank holidays or limited business hours. It's a truly decentralized system that ensures accessibility and financial freedom for everyone, no matter the time or place.
