high DPI mice are way overhyped
biggest problem i get from using them is all the time the GUI is misinterpreting clicks as drags and all hell breaks loose
i just dial the settings back to sensible and everything is ok again
the wrist and arm aren't that precise
just testosterone talking
I just do 12 000 DPI then multiply the sensitivity by like 0.004 in my mouse accel software lmao
i know a fair bit about sampling and smoothing and i dunno what interpolation they do but i don't see why they don't have jitter smoothing in the OS, i guess not many people have high DPI mice - it's a nice idea but not if it's interpreted as the same number of pixels as the scanrate on it
