Trust me, it’s not a minority opinion. As far as the rest of that, like I said, plenty of other countries get on fine without needing to be armed.

Australians turned in their guns and got the worst covid lockdowns turning it again into a prison colony. I live in a country without mostly private guns, it's dangerous to have an unarmed population
I’m trying to understand what you’re saying. Are you saying that if the.citizens of Australia were able to keep their guns, that they would’ve revolted against the country’s covid mandates?
In regards to your last sentence, it’s even more dangerous to allow citizens to own firearms without regulations.
As I said in my other comment, when it’s harder to get a drivers license than a gun, that’s a problem and if we had proper regulations in place, there would be a lot more children still alive.
You can spin it however you like, but that’s a fact. If the AR was placed back in the banned list, that would’ve saved many lives in and of itself. If there was proper regulations in regards to who can own a weapon, the kids that got literally blown away, to the point where they had to have closed caskets, would still be alive because that assailant never would’ve gotten his hands on a firearm let alone an AR.
So, that brings me back to how I ended my last message, plenty of countries get on just fine without allowing their citizens to arm themselves.
Having guns is a deterrent against tyranny, it does not mean you have to start a war. US couldn't win in Afghanistan for 20 years because enough people there had guns. It's just not a great prospect for would-be tyrannies when the populace is armed.
I don't think you are capable of imagining a tyrannical government. It seems you think only the government having guns and leaving the populace completely defenseless is desirable. But many governments such as the one ruling the USA is going full steam ahead towards tyranny, with dreams of totalitarian control of the population.
If you say so. 🤦🏻♂️
