A clarification about Trezor and its new wallet "Safe 3".
While the secure element is not Open-source hardware (OSH), the software is, i.e. the software that runs the OPTIGA Trust M secure element.
It also has a permissive license for bug reporting, which is prohibited in other secure elements on the market.
Infineon on the other hand is a reputable manufacturer.
I am not defending this choice, but it is clearly better than its competitors until the tropic chip arrives.
In the meantime I still consider Jade the best choice with its multi-signature system (Pin + Oracle Secret Server).
