Replying to Avatar CKMe

Only going to do that if I get laid off. They have said that announcements will come in the 4th quarter of this year & the 1st quarter of next year.

To be fair I am honestly excited at the possibility that that may be my future. Financially it would suck, but it is truly doable with enough hard work on my part.

I am shackled by my golden handcuffs for now. I make way too much money & have way too many benefits to walk away from the fiat mine, but a layoff would leave me with no excuses

Well, now's a good time to start saving up so you have "walk-away" money. That way when the decision is made you won't be stressed. I did that before going on my own. Sometimes life gives you a push in the right direction of you're afraid to make the decision.
