In the Netherlands there's an excess of solar generated electricity that is destabilizing the net because of its intermittancy. The tax measures and subsidies for ownership of an ev are exuberant and unsustainable in the Netherlands. Those beautiful roads are too expensive for citizens to pay for, even with a low square km per citizen ratio. Both countries, and many more worldwide, are in a state of social unrest because of political policy mismanagement and monetary policy causing inflation. It's not going well for Dutch people. I understand you were visiting, but if you want to say something meaningful, your superficial comparison is incorrect and doesn't do justice to what the status quo is in either countries.
