It seems I have missed something about the nostr protocol.

Does this mean if I follow someone that uses and posts on a public relay my client is not using, my client will automatically add that relay?

What exactly is a 'server recommendation'?

AFAIK - you, as an Nostr relay admin, can send clients a list of relays. He sees the list in the iOS / Android app and can ignore it or connect to this relays?
