How do you feel about not finishing anything? (Genuine question)

Terrible. Iโ€™m a failure ๐Ÿ˜ž

There is no need to go to that extreme. It's just that I found it a difficult balance between skipping to the next interesting thing and finishing a thing completely. Sometimes there are new surprises to be found if you near completion. But that's not always the case.

I think that a lot of people lack focus these days, and thatโ€™s just a result of the structures we exist in. I guess thatโ€™s why things like college degrees still hold value, they indicate that an individual actually brought something through to completion.

I find that most have certain things, environments or people that can push them to finish things, despite the tension that creates, especially when what the persons wants does not reconcile with what those โ€œpushersโ€ want for them.

The actual action in the trade off of โ€œcontrolโ€ over time/focus is hard but once you do it, itโ€™s not that hard.

Do the work. Stay out of the misery.

Daymnn dad. Okโ€ฆ whatever you say๐Ÿ˜…

๐Ÿ˜‚ they have a point, it's very short and blunt but effectively it does boil down to that. In practice I don't find it always this "easy". ๐Ÿ˜
