I've heard that, too. I think its sort of half right. If our job is to be the image of Christ, then 'Antichrist' means us, when we're missing the mark. That would certainly mean that we have an unintegrated part of Self, which is Shadow.

One thing I like about the gnostic gospels is that Jesus sang and danced and had a good time. In the canonical gospels, he doesn't seem to enjoy himself much. For us regular people, one way (possibly the only way) we integrate shadow is by laughing at ourselves. Its humility + amusement + enjoying what's given without demanding more. Or, being totally enthralled with the cosmic play, imitating the cosmic dance and frolicking like a child. There was a priest in Georgia who was known for that kind of behavior, now a saint, though I can't remember his name...
