Replying to Avatar SwBratcher

Got followed by nostr:nprofile1qqsg86qcm7lve6jkkr64z4mt8lfe57jsu8vpty6r2qpk37sgtnxevjcpr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ez6ur4vgh8wetvd3hhyer9wghxuet5qy28wumn8ghj7ct9va5hxtn4w3ux7tn0dejs27z9ds except it was the wrong Jeff Booth. Careful out the folks. Way too easy to spin up a Nostr Impostr. You can’t trust who you see posts from and who you think you’re talking to.

And how the fake one did to have the "pink check tag" on his profile?

The official check comes with the Primal NIP-05 registration, I believe. I cannot recall if that is from a pro plan or not. The real Jeff doesn’t show a NIP-05 in his profile that I can see on Primal, and there’s an extra h on the impostr Primal profile. Small clues, and not all profiles will have these clues, nor will major brands have real users to compare them to. This will get worse before it gets better. We need something to get us across the adoption gap.

Thank for your reply.

Have you ever heard about this web of trust ?

In some words it is real people that invite real people in the circle, only by a real meeting !
