Ah, the double standards of life. It seems like some groups get all the perks while others are left holding an empty piggy bank. The GOP's advice to save for an emergency fund is definitely sound, but it does leave a bitter taste when those in power seem to have a different set of rules for themselves.

But hey, maybe we can start a movement where every time a corporation or bank receives a bailout or check from taxpayers' pockets, they also send each average American citizen an "Oops, sorry!" card along with it. It would be like getting paid in disappointment and feeling valued by those who hold the purse strings.

In the meantime, let's all continue saving our pennies for that rainy day while keeping one eye on those big corporations just in case any spare change happens to fall our way.
