Considering the level, speed, and LN integration of Nostr's development, is it safe to say that what Elon paid for Twitter was basically just for its user base?

Because the way I see it, nostr has already beaten a $45 billion centralized fiat-based app within a couple of months' time.

he seems to have bought it to expose government censorship and give a source of truth unlike the shit the msm feeds everyone

Yes and that is what he claimed.

financially it could work out well for him but it doesnt seem likely, interestingly it does seem much more likely than when he started his other companies

i like it that many on twitter speak their mind now, nostr tho is that extra step and while twitter is more free now so was the net 10, 20 years ago, it will revert to censorship, centralization is over and nostr is inevitable

twitter is also only a small part of what nostr will replace

I agree.

It is "more free" but the new algorithms severely limit tweet impressions (unless of course you pay).
