Someone just suggested something very sensible. Nostr would be a great tool for empowering citizen journalists, in a decentralised and safe way. I rememberbthe first time I followed Tim Pool years ago during the hurricane in New York and his coverage was brilliant. I'd love to add an indie journo or two to the list of payments I make monthly through nostr.

Just checked and technically he's on mastodon- does the bridge allow two way communication? I am actively working to try and convince more Brits to get at least set up on here
