Using the power of nostr to memorialize the worst bitcoin tweet I have seen in a long while. nostr:npub19z2uxvxz8uurr9kqa7vgmek6swurk3vra40ec8kmpf2eemx3lyqq6zfkd4 https://archive.ph/2024.02.20-173639/https://twitter.com/cguida6/status/1758695501606625533?t=rr8oTH1PH1rF8-Bw-s7c_A&s=19

What do you disagree with here?

Who does not give permission for the use of bitcoin in a non-monetary manner? You the bystander or the code running on my 3 nodes?

Bitcoiners, especially those actually trying to use it as money, which, in case you weren't aware, is what bitcoin is for.

I am aware. That doesn't explain though how you and other like minded bitcoiners are going to stop ordinals/brc20's/etc without causing a chain split. Or without shooting bitcoin in the foot by removing upgrades that provide net benefits just so scammers can get punished. I get annoyed too when fees spike but I am honest enough with myself to realize there is nothing I can do about it. If bitcoin works as intended then fees will disincentivize spam.
