I've never bothered with the liquid soap, just bar soap. Usually takes me about 2 hrs from start to pour. I use the cold process method.

But you should go for it. 🫡 And if you don't want to have to make it yourself, then go to my site, and purchase mine.

yeah, that's awesome, i bet your tallow is better than the belgian stuff i have

but i gotta make this stuff, probably gonna go up the road and get the bits and do my reading and learn the ratios to use... i never owned me some pearl ash before in my life, though i know i can make it out of ashes of fires from wood, this is something that is better than hard soaps... it was part of the reason why it never caught on until someone figured out electrolysing sodium chloride, and dealing with the chlorine to get sodium hydroxide

you probably know you can't make soap with sodium carbonate, and you need electricity to make sodium hydroxide i'm sure

You can go to soapcalc.net to figure out your ratios

that domain look very familiar

yes, i have scales but they only have 40g accuracy, i haven't actually thought through the process yet

Yeah, you definitely want to understand what you're doing, and take proper safety measures. You can both screw up, and hurt yourself or someone else very easily.

Plenty of YT videos on it.
