you rely on getting content outside your follows, ie from the follows of your follows or what your follows pull from global or other means, why not also view the follows of follows? or view others feeds? or use their blocks to improve your global? there is so many ways we can improve feeds than just each making a follow list, we could even share follows, merge follows, adopt others follows
