The attention whores are just mental masturbators without the attention. At the same time, they are burning their reputations over a pyre of their own shit.
We can’t get people to ignore them any more than we can get them to stop by paying attention to them.
Give people tools to analyze what is actually going on so the outbursts of panic are less damaging and then move on with your life and let the unproductive clowns on both sides waste their time fighting each other.
This can only be solved in two ways.
1.
Parents teach their kids the critical thinking skills needed to make this happen.
Analyze information objectively, come to a logical well thought out conclusion. Process how you feel about it after.
2.
The public school system teaches your kids critical thinking skills.
Teach kids critical thinking through an emotional lense. If it feels bad its bad is the natural conclusion with this method.
