Following the recent anime announcement, I am now reading Ryosuke Takeuchi's “All You Need Is Kill” manga, and it’s been great.

The 2014 movie “Edge of Tomorrow” is an adaptation of this book so if you know the movie you have an idea of the general plot, but note that there are major Character, Theme, and Combat Suit design differences with both adaptations having very different endings, which makes the manga very worth the read.
