Can’t believe anyone seriously entertained the idea that that guy would be involved in such a thing, especially because he’s been a fucking vegetable since I was a kid.
I’m with Owen Benjamin on this one. The real guy died long long ago. The character created lived on in everyone’s imagination. Such a fake story.
In a long enough time horizon they will co-opt and turn everything that was damaging into a joke

The fact that such an effort as "counter-intelligence" exists at all should be enough to make us doubt just about everything they say.
My money is on a limited hangout followed by a pearl-clutching call to "protect children" by banning privacy and encryption and or requiring ISPs to KYC every packet.
