I was recently thinking about such a problem-let’s say we colonise Mars. The settlers there would have trouble running nodes, cause it would cause synchronisation problems between Earth and Mars. What should they do? Run another Mars Bitcoin network and have their own MBTC (xD) token or use Lightning channels. That way, they would be completely dependent on Earth’s miners.

I know it sounds futuristic, but I really want the Bitcoin to be future-proof.
