Yup, just rented a car in Salerno, spending some time in and around Matera for 4 days, then back to Rome for a bit. Still have Sicily, Malta and London before home as well 😃

Yup absolutely!

Flew into Rome, took a full day and night to get ourselves centered.

*train to Salerno, ferry to Amalfi

Amalfi Coast - 6 nights

*ferry to Salerno, car rental to Matera

Matera & area - 4 nights

*return car in Salerno, train to Rome

Rome - 5 nights

*fly to Catania

Sicily (all over) - 9 nights

*fly to Malta

Malta - 4 nights

*fly to London

London - 5 nights
