I have accepted that will never understand everything about God. My intelligence is limited. Instead I surrender myself to God, follow his commandments and have faith.
I am skeptical about most things in life but questioning God has always led to bad outcomes for me. Just have faith in the Almighty for his Mercy, Glory and Brilliance.
IMO Exploring the nature and implications of your faith is the exact opposite of "questioning God." As Christians, our mandate is to follow Christ's example. Christ was constantly discussing and questioning conventional interpretation of God.
Unquestioning obedience to splotches of ink or people on podiums is one of the more prevalent forms of idolatry.
Does your God give you inner peace and take away all your fear?
Have you received the Holy Spirit?
If so keep doing what you’re doing.
