Its the Slavs that got the burnt end of stick in the great game. I can't say I wouldn't harbour enmity to outsiders if I were them. Every once in a while the world powers swoop in and throw them into a war or just sell them. Mongols, Huns, Christian Kings, Rome, Persia, North Africans . . . all at one point or the other marched through and abused them. Now we are scattering them amongst the nations. As their numbers dwindle, we have turned our baleful gaze upon the Palestinians. Semite v Semite atrocities are being used to create another wandering group, angry and disgusted by our society.

The rest of us are mostly from the lost tribes of dead nations. The fundamental calculation of all life forms (is this entity an "us" or a "them") has been irreparably addled in almost all corners of the earth. The religious and the traditionalists are the hold outs BUT as Lincoln once said " the dogmas of the quiet past are insufficient for the stormy future. We must disenthrall ourselves ...". I agree with the old guy and so can come to no conclusion except that what we had was insufficient to protect us and what we have now is chaos. We need is to evolve, but are running out of time.
