Democracy can be nothing more than mob rule and fundamental rights are fundamental only because they are objective, i.e. they have been granted to us by God, our Creator. Such rights are objective components of the Universe that God created as much as are the laws of physics. God created moral laws as sure as He created physical laws. Those who are not governed by God will be governed by tyrants.
