You must be charming, I couldn't even bring my closest friends, and I keep talking about nostr to all of them. 🤣

To be fair I have been talking about #bitcoin for many years. Some girlfriends bought, some just wait for our lunch dates where I ask them to pay so I can pay them back in sats, and others are curious but just never bought and we’re not sure about getting paid back in some sats that they “can’t use” 😂

And finally now thanks to #nostr I am able to say “In nostr you can get sat zaps ⚡️ instead of a like and this will help you understand bitcoin in a very easy way.”

So…. One by one I’m bringing them on. And thanks to everyone on here I think they will learn how bitcoin works in real life and they will stay because all of you guys are so welcoming and super cool!

You're right, I think the easiest path to bitcoin is to dive into #nostr

You receive and can watch zaps going back and forth without permission and it all flows so smoothly that I can see how this must all increase interest in #bitcoin

100% it’s what excited me.

It’s exhausting preaching the same thing over and over for years on end (I’m sure you know what I mean, like you want to save all family and friends… but it’s hard) and when I saw zaps I was like omg okay this is genius and such an easy way for them to see real life use cases 🤩!
