I drove it today (only on 5th gear) 200 km to a guy who has like 8 saabs and mends them alone, because he claims services are shit. And immediately got out BY HAND a huge screw they put behind engine few days ago, it's bigger than the hole and broke off piece of aluminium with it. He was furious about this, for the back wheel called his friend welder and other service (because he kinda remembered this car from few years ago, it came to us from around here), thought about changing the back for some of his stuff etc.. I hope he will deliver solid job, he seemed seriously interested in some common sense around the repair and he repairs saabs 95 exclusively, so he knows everything. Anyway I'm quite bothered how reliable Saab services are, I smelled BS for some time now.

That sounds like the right kind of guy for the job. They have usually seen it all before, know exactly what to do for the best, and it also breaks their heart if they can't save them.
Yes. I told him what it's doing over the phone and he knew precisely what it is, why and how to fix that. That's why he gets the job across the republic, services next door didn't give a F. Only this guy extensively explained why I need a new transmission, that I have older type doing this and it's solved in newer type, the others just shrugged. I wish we had a garage😮💨
