I don't mean for us, at least not yet.
6 months in a UK prison is nothing.
But for people who's actual lives/families lives in danger for their speech or journalism, they're the ones who are actually taking a risk when they use their real identity.
Personally I just don't want my family knowing it's me if they ever find out about nostr
Yeah, there are cases where it’s necessary obviously. But IMO too many people only speaking up pseudonymously when it’s not yet necessary abdicates the fight and makes it more likely that it becomes necessary.
It’s game theory. Speak up now under your real name, take a small risk, but if everyone does it, you win. Keep quiet under your real name now (no risk), but if everyone does that, the censor wins.
