If you want to earn/charge more for your performances/thoughts, then create a portal/solution that allows you to do so. That’s the beauty of the Nostr protocol. Can’t even remotely do that on Twitter/Insta/Reddit/OF/PornHub/TikTok etc.

Even though 10 or 100 Sats May feel small now, it’s still something of true value compared to a digital thumbs up for nothing. Think about the guy who spent 10 BTC for pizzas. At the time that was the value.

It’s akin to a street performer working for tips. They don’t ask for a specific amount. People give what they can financially afford to do so and what they feel is warranted and that’s ok. Want to be Taylor Swift and make millions per show and be exclusive? Go get a record label deal and do a tour and be a slave to someone else. Want to work for yourself and be a creator, work hard and make your work valuable go do it.
