Ok so it is stated in their terms of service.
“(m) Service is restricted in the following regions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria”
The problem is, is it reasonable?
If you read OFAC explanation of sanctions on Iran, you won't find anything that prohibits streaming services to provide services to Iranian, even some sort of services like social media services are allowed. SoundCloud, Youtube, Apple Music all provide services to Iranian accounts. Yes they are blocked in Iran but there is no restriction on their side.
I don’t know. To me it’s more acceptable now when I know it’s stated in the terms, guess it’s some kind of legal issue. Would be nice if Wavlake could clear things out. It’s sad because I liked your sound 🙁 Hope you’ll find other ways to put your music out to the world!
