Oh yes, I am very aware. My UMC congregation is too small to make the change. Our Bishhop is forcing closures, making the individuals leave the UMC and new churches purchase back buildings, furniture, etc. She's playing word games so she can say there have been no disaffiliations.

Luckily we have a conservative pastor and he has made it clear that he cannot abide all the woke crap from the higher ups in the umc. But we are being sued by umc, along with a bunch of other churches in Texas. But we have a lawyer we are working with.
